Short description / motivation: Each player pretends to be a bartender in a trendy bar in New York. He mixes drinks to get as many tips as possible. Therefore, he serves customers as quickly as possible and might sometimes even steal a few ingredients from his neighbors. At the end of the game the mixer with the biggest amount of tips wins ...
The idea for this game was born on a cocktail evening with friends: It is easy to find tasty recipes, but always one of the ingredients is missing, even if you have a big beverage supply. The variety of recipes and ingredients seems almost made for a game. Since the game consists of original recipes and ingredients, the players can either have fun playing cards or mixing these cocktails.  Details: Each player takes guest cards and mixes the drinks printed on the cards. Therefore, he uses his own ingredients, or trades them with other players or even steal some ingredients from a neighbor. For any mixed drink, the player gets a tip. The player with the most tips wins.
American Bar requires a skillful combination of existing ingredients and offers exciting possibilities for interaction with other players in trading ingredients.
